DEER PARK - Local high school golfers battled cold wind and tough conditions Monday to turn in several impressive performances at a Class 1B/2B District 6 tournament.
Odessa sophomore Ella Schlomer tied for sixth place in the girls division with a 98, following up a third-place finish in the season's first event at Bryden Canyon. Odessa freshman Aubrey Iverson competed in her first high school tournament, shooting +44 through 14 holes to place 15th.
