Frostbite, White Knuckle a success
A rider goes head-first over the handlebars while navigating the long endurance course during the Frostbite race in Odessa this past weekend.
ODESSA - The Stumpjumpers Motorcycle Club hosted a full weekend of off-road motorcycle events here, with the Frostbite Grand Prix hare scramble on Saturday, March 28, and the White Knuckle Poker Run on Sunday, March 29.
The Frostbite served as a pre-Desert 100 race tune-up, featuring nearly 20 classes from junior and youth divisions to veteran, senior, women and open categories.
"I believe this year's event was one of the best turn outs the Stumpjumpers had in a while," Stumpjumpers staff member Tim Chew, 67, of Caldwell, Idaho, said.
