Odessa's Izaak Schmierer readies to launch the javelin at the Icebreaker Relays on Saturday, March 28, at Valley Christian. He finished 13th in the event with a 98-04 throw.
SPOKANE VALLEY – The Odessa boys track team finished seventh at the Icebreakers Relay on Saturday, March 28.
The boys scored 37.5 team points. Logos won the boys division with 123 points, followed by Valley Christian with 82.5.
In the girls division, Odessa finished 10th with 24 team points. Logos won the event with 144; Northwest Christian (Colbert) was second with 86.
Competing in the boys 110-meter hurdles, Odessa junior Landon McMillan dominated the race, followed by senior teammate Aiden Schmierer.
McMillian won the race in 17.43 seconds; Schmierer was second in 18.07.
