Chili Crunch was a new to me culinary item. Chinese in origin, with many recipe variations, this is a pungent, spicy heat seasoning. Recipes abound for use in scrambled and deviled eggs, popcorn topping, rice and pasta dishes, steamed vegetables and a topping for hummus servings.
Anita De Mars of Odessa, shared her recipe for the seasoning and serving with course grated carrot mixture. The resulting salad is a flavorful condiment for roast meats or by itself.
