Man returns rebuilt stolen motorcycle

DAVENPORT — A local mechanic who spent more than a year rebuilding a motorcycle discovered it had been stolen and voluntarily returned it to its rightful owner.

Christopher Matthew Suksdorf of Davenport acquired the 2007 red-and-black Hyosung motorcycle in September 2024 from a woman he met at a party in the Spokane area. Suksdorf, who works as a mechanic, said the bike was in poor condition and needed extensive repairs. He initially checked with law enforcement and believed it was not stolen.
