SPRAGUE — A man is under investigation for allegedly impersonating a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputy during a telephone call pressuring a landlord to evict a tenant.
Troy James Burke allegedly called landlord Carl Andrew Parks on April 5 and identified himself as sheriff's “Officer Burke," the records state. Burke urged Parks to evict tenant James Edward Cole, citing Cole’s criminal history as a sex offender and felon.
