Man cited after dogs charge

DAVENPORT — Two aggressive dogs approached three girls in a yard, one charging at them and forcing the girls to seek safety in a vehicle, according to sheriff’s office records.

The dogs — a gray boxer-type and a brown German shepherd mix named Ozzy — entered the unfenced yard at 913 14th St. on April 7 and barked aggressively at the girls, including a 12-year-old, the incident report states. The victim’s father, Andrew Scott Miller, provided security camera footage showing the shepherd-type dog making an aggressive move toward one of the girls.
