Local golfers shine in rain

CHEWELAH — Cold, rainy conditions made for tough playing, but the Davenport/Reardan co-op golf team turned in several strong performances during a league 18-hole match Tuesday.

Mac Larmer led the team with an 81, finishing third in the tournament. Bennett Wagner shot 92, McGuire Knop 99, Jack Stewart 118 and Jacob James 119. Karsten Farr shot 96.

Eighth-grader Kamryn Mann paced the girls with a 122. Fiona Strozyk shot 126, Brooke Ball 131 and Shelby Hargrave 139....
