Roommate charged

CRESTON — A woman was arrested for allegedly pushing her roommate down porch stairs during a domestic dispute at about 7 p.m. April 17.

Brandy G. Behr, 49, of Eagle River, Alaska, was taken into custody on Southwest South First Street, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office records show.

Earl David Hertlein told Deputy Nicholas Pecheos he was walking down the steps when Behr pushed him, records show. Hertlein said he stumbled but declined medical attention.

Officers noted Behr showed signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, glossy eyes and a strong odor of alcohol.
