Filing begins Monday for County

DAVENPORT — With one key local office vacant and most incumbents expected to seek re-election, Lincoln County’s 2026 election season kicks off next week as candidates can begin filing for a full slate of county positions.

Elections Manager Norm Caley said the majority of courthouse positions are on the ballot this cycle, along with dozens of precinct committee officer spots for both major parties. A 1% filing fee based on salary applies to the paid offices.
