Starting with dessert first this week. Had several requests for the Chocolate Walnut Crumb Bars I made for several occasions recently. I got the recipe from a Diamond Brand walnuts package in 1995. These easy to prepare bars are versatile as they look elegant on a fancy cookie tray, yet please the substantial cookie fans,
Chocolate Walnut
Crumb Bars
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups Semi-sweet Chocolate chips, divided
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
