Candidates file for 2026 offices in County

DAVENPORT — With the filing deadline for the Aug. 4 primary election set for 5 p.m. Friday, Lincoln County residents and area candidates have filed for a range of local, legislative and congressional offices.

All incumbents filed for re-election. As of 3:30 p.m. today at press time, the following positions have candidates filed. All countywide and commissioner races drew single Republican candidates. Several Republican precinct committee officer positions also received filings across the county. Filing remains open through Friday afternoon, so additional candidates may still enter.
