Deputy finds patient on road

DAVENPORT — A welfare check on a man with dementia who was walking along a rural highway ended safely, according to Lincoln County sheriff’s office records.

David G. Jones called dispatch April 25 after a tracker in his father’s wallet showed him near Sunset Highway and Evers Road. Jones said his father, David Lawrence Morton, had mentioned walking to Airway Heights.
