Footings for the new "Old Time One-Room School House" on the south side of the OHS museum were poured in fall 2025. The Historical Society is currently seeking bids so construction of the replica schoolhouse can be completed this summer or fall.

That is just a couple of questions for you to ponder. The season opening is coming up on Memorial Day weekend, and Sunday and Monday.
Each week through the summer, it will be open each Sunday from 1-3 p.m. When we have folks who come from other areas, they always enjoy all that we have in the museum. There is a good chance that much of Odessa just hasn't made it to see.
Come on down this summer and enjoy yourself.
This year is America's 250th birthday. The Historical Society wants to help you celebrate that....
