Residents: Slow speeding vehicles in school zone

REARDAN - Frustrated residents last Thursday, May 7, called for a crack down on speeding near the school campus.

During the City Council meeting, residents cited daily violations of 20 mph and 25 mph zones on Spokane Street and other roads.

Several speakers said they regularly witness drivers traveling 45-50 mph as children walk and bike to and from school.

Bill Brockman, who lives along the route, said he watches the problem every school day from his deck.
