Davenport wrestlers medal in Spokane

SPOKANE - A Davenport second-grader and her sophomore uncle combined for two state wrestling championships at the Washington State Werstling Association's State Freestyle and Greco-Roman tournament May 2-3 in Spokane.
Wrestling at The Podium, they also qualified to compete in a national-level event.
Hadley Stensland dominated the K-2 girls 53.8-57.4 pound bracket.
She captured first place in freestyle on Saturday and followed it up with another gold medal in Greco-Roman on Sunday.
Greco-Roman is a wresting style that focuses on throws and prohibits leg attacks.
