HARRINGTON - Families filled the school cafeteria Tuesday night for a Taco Tuesday open house as part of the Harrington Heart & Soul project, reviewing draft community statements and adding their own hopes, concerns and ideas for the town's future.
The free event - complete with a taco bar donated by the Mercantile using local Jacobson cattle beef - drew a strong turnout despite the rain. It marked the latest step in a year-long community visioning process funded by a $30,000 Innovia Foundation grant.
