Illegal dumping reported

DAVENPORT — Someone illegally dumped a white 35-gallon barrel, an empty black suitcase and a bag of trash at the intersection of Wheatdale and Spinning roads, according to Lincoln County sheriff’s office records.

Thomas Eugene Sorensen reported the items shortly after 1:18 p.m. May 11. Deputy Brandon Rose responded and found nothing to identify a suspect. Sorensen kept the barrel for personal use and disposed of the trash himself. The case was closed the same day with no further action....
