Man secures ex-roommate's guns

DAVENPORT — A man requested a deputy’s presence while his former roommate’s sister picked up belongings, including firearms, because he did not feel comfortable returning a gun to someone he said was abusing pills, according to Lincoln County sheriff’s office records.

Anthony John Brown of 30154 SR 25 N told deputies May 12 that his ex-roommate Devin Martin no longer lived there and had been abusing pills. Brown asked that an officer stand by during the exchange when Martin’s sister arrived to collect the items.
