Woman reports prowler

SPRAGUE — A woman reported a man with a flashlight looking around a vacant neighbor’s backyard late Wednesday night, prompting a suspicious-circumstances call to deputies, according to Lincoln County sheriff’s office records.

Elizabeth Anne Scoles of 314 W 1st St told authorities she yelled at the young male, who had a lot of hair, after spotting him behind the property at 318 W 1st St about 9:41 p.m. May 14. Scoles said the man told her it was not his property, then walked toward E Street. The residence is vacant but still contains belongings.
