Odessa sophomore Ella Schlomer holds her district certificate after finishing sixth in the girls division and qualifying for state at the district golf meet.
LIBERTY LAKE - Odessa junior Eli Madigan delivered one of the strongest individual performances in recent program history, finishing fifth in the 1B Boys division at the WIAA State Golf Championships held May 19-20 at Liberty Lake Golf Course.
Madigan posted an impressive two-round total of 84 to earn a spot on the podium among the state's top small-school golfers. Teammate senior Troy Hardung placed 17th with a 94, while sophomore Ella Schlomer competed in the combined 1B/2B Girls division and finished 45th with a total of 111.
