REARDAN – Inside the Speed Trap Tap House this past Monday, the usual clinking of glasses gave way to a respectful silence as more than 55 community members gathered to honor the nation's fallen service members.
For 20 minutes, the town paused, for Memorial Day remembrance.
The ceremony began with the familiar words of the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by the national anthem, played by Reardan High School band members Treyson Singleton, Blake Wynecoop, and Gavin Wynecoop.
