The destination makes the trip worthwhile

Life is like driving. It’s not a competition, though many people treat it like it is. People who are competing are trying to have bigger and better, and have it for longer than the rest of us. Perhaps this kind of comparison living and trying to outdo everyone around you makes you happy; but it is annoying to the rest of us. And you should know that if you’re competing by blasting your sound system, my grandkids and I make fun of you for sharing such bad music.
