DAVENPORT - A hitchhiker gave a deputy his brother's name and date of birth in an attempt to conceal his true identity and avoid arrest on outstanding warrants last fall.
As a result, Marc D. Anderson, 56, was arraigned on second-degree identity theft in Lincoln County Superior Court on Tuesday, May 26. He pleaded not guilty before Judge Adam Walser.
He will be tried at 9 a.m. July 22; a readiness hearing is set for 10:30 a.m. June 30.
