Last weeks violent, wind, rain and hail storm wrecked havoc on many inland northwest gardens. Anything that survived the several killing frosts the area experienced early this spring were beat to death by pounding hail and rain. Even the gooseberries that bloomed between those frosts, were stripped of some of the fruit in the storm.
