Glenna Soliday has historic weekend
Davenport's Glenna Soliday clears the last hurdle ahead of Mount Vernon Christian's Reese Hoksbergen en route to winning a preliminary heat in the 100-meter hurdles on Friday. Soliday went on to win the state title in the event.
YAKIMA - Glenna Soliday cemented her place in Washington track and field history Saturday, becoming the first athlete to win both hurdle events four consecutive years while leading Davenport to a third-place finish at the 2026 WIAA 1B-2B-1A Track and Field Championships.
La Conner clinched the meet victory in the 2B competition with 60 points, narrowly edging out Cle Elum-Roslyn, who finished second with 58 points. Davenport and Freeman tied for third place with 53 points each.
