New owners revive River Rue campground

WILBUR — A California-based company has taken over the long-neglected River Rue RV Park near Keller Ferry and is working to restore the popular Lake Roosevelt-area campground as a welcoming destination for visitors this season.

Harmony Communities, an affordable housing provider based in Stockton, California, purchased the property at the end of April. It is the company’s first location in Washington state.
