Deputies assist intoxicated man

DAVENPORT — Deputies assisted an intoxicated man staggering along U.S. Highway 2 around 11 a.m. July 4.

Ryan Jay Moon was located by deputies near Janett Road after multiple drivers reported seeing a man in shorts, a black T-shirt and flip-flops eastbound on the highway, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies requested EMS to evaluate the intoxicated Moon; he was transported to Lincoln Hospital, according to the report.

Around 1:30 p.m., the hospital contacted deputies after Moon left the facility.

Deputies located him again at Sixth and Morgan streets.
