Primary election ballots to be mailed July 14

DAVENPORT — Ballots for the Tuesday, Aug. 4, primary election will be mailed to voters July 14.

Lincoln County Elections Manager Norm Caley said approximately 8,800 ballots will be sent out. He noted there are no contested race.

Only ballots returned to dropboxes or postmarked on or before Aug. 4 will be counted.

Official ballot drop boxes are located in the Auditor’s Office at the Lincoln County Courthouse, in the east parking lot of the courthouse, and outside the Harrington Library.

Caley encouraged voters to mail their ballots early due to slower mail service.
