Van towed after blocking garbage bin access

DAVENPORT — A silver van that had been parked behind the Safeway grocery store for a more than 24 hours was towed Saturday morning, July 4, because it blocked access to the store’s garbage bins.

According to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office records, the 2008 Toyota Sienna was parked in the Logan Street right-of-way next to store garbage bins at 1208 Morgan St.

Chazrina Ann Swan, the driver, had been in custody since July 1 on a driving while license suspended charge and had not transferred the vehicle into her name.
