Traveling circus show delights local families
Rastelli the Clown keeps the audience laughing between acts at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, July 29.
DAVENPORT - Families filled the covered arena at the fairgrounds Wednesday evening, July 29, as the Rastelli Circus delivered traditional acts, high-wire thrills and face painting in a one-night stop.
The traveling show, founded in 2023 by fourth-generation performers, emphasizes classic circus skills rarely seen in larger productions.
Denisse Santos, 27, of Las Vegas, Nev., serves as a performer, manager and tour booking agent.
She is a fourth-generation circus artist who began as a contortionist at age 3.
