Serious crash closes Highway 2

DAVENPORT — A two-vehicle head-on collision on U.S. Highway 2 early Monday morning left one person with serious injuries and temporarily closed the roadway in both directions.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details including ages, genders and vehicle information were not available at press time.

The crash occurred about 3:01 a.m. approximately four miles east of the city, according to Sgt. Jerry Walker of the Washington State Patrol.
