ODESSA — Reiman Park will host National Night Out at 5 p.m , Saturday, Aug. 12.
The event will feature free food, demonstrations and conversation aimed at strengthening relationships between the community and first responders.
“Our purpose is to have a community event where we can build relationships with the residents — the first responders, the police, the fire, the EMTs — and meet new faces, get to know the people in the community better, and get them to feel safe reaching out to one of us if they need any of our first-responding units,” police spokeswoman Amy Hardung said.
