Assault case set for trial

ODESSA — A local man’s second-degree assault case is now set for trial at 9 a.m. Oct. 28.

On Tuesday, Aug. 4, Michael Wayne Frederick, 68, appeared before Judge Adam Walser in Lincoln County Superior Court in Davenport on three counts of second-degree assault, according to court documents.

The charges stem from an October 2025 dispute in which Frederick allegedly pointed a gun at three people.
