DAVENPORT - A Spokane man previously found incompetent to stand trial will be tried for second-degree burglary at 9 a.m. Sept. 2.
Andrew Lee Martin, 45, of Spokane, appeared Tuesday, Aug. 4, before Judge Adam Walser in Lincoln County Superior Court for a competency status hearing, where Prosecuting Attorney Ty Albertson said reports from a state hospital indicate Martin has been restored to competency.
On June 10, the court found Martin incompetent and ordered him into a 45-day inpatient competency restoration program, along with authorization for involuntary antipsychotic medication if needed...
