Harassment complaint filed

DAVENPORT — A woman reported a former neighbor following her on the roadway and threatening her dogs Thursday afternoon.

Rebecca Joyce Kent, of Ross Street, called deputies about 4:45 p.m. Aug. 6 and said Walter Kenneth Parks, who drives a black 2012 Jeep Wrangler, has been stalking and harassing her, the report said.

Kent reported Parks has threatened to shoot her dogs for no reason and that the situation scares her 4-year-old daughter, according to Sheriff’s Office records.

Deputy Jon Evans advised Kent to seek an anti-harassment order, and she said she would do so, the report stated....
