Man faces stolen vehicle, gun charges

DAVENPORT - A man charged with possessing stolen vehicles and firearms as a convicted felon appeared in court Tuesday, Aug. 11, and had his arraignment continued while he seeks private counsel.

Erich Hans Urbat, 43, faces two counts of possession of a stolen vehicle, both Class B felonies punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine each, and two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, both Class C felonies punishable by up to five years and a $10,000 fine each, according to Lincoln County Superior Court records.
