Racing reported at park

DAVENPORT — A resident reported vehicles racing and doing burnouts at Davenport Park.

According to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office records, Phinigan Andrew Truesdale called deputies about 6:54 p.m. Aug. 3 and said two cars and two trucks were racing and performing burnouts, the report stated.

Deputy Blake Martin contacted a group of juveniles with a red truck, a green truck and a car across from the park. The individuals denied driving recklessly, according to the report.
