MEDICAL LAKE - The West Plains Cannons returned to familiar territory in 2026 as the local American Legion league champions for the fifth time in the past six seasons.
West Plains had relative ease in the district playoffs but fell short, however, in the in the state playoffs, reaching the third round in a double elimination event held in Spokane.
