A crowd of about 160 from Odessa recently attended the annual town picnic at Natatorium Park. Attendance was down slightly from years previous.

Farmers in the Davenport area began hauling wheat to local warehouses and elevators on a large scale this past week. About 7500 bushels a day has been received by bulk due to the high price of bags.

Logan Bros. of Pendleton OR was awarded a contract to grade and drain 6 miles of state road number 22, from Detillion bridge south toward Davenport.
