Animal count jumps from 75 to 119

DAVENPORT - The Lincoln County Junior Livestock Sale generated $248,470.60 this year as the number of market animals jumped from 75 to 119.
The total is up from $195,866.30 in 2025, according to sale comparison figures. Tim O'Connell, one of three primary members of the Lincoln County Junior Livestock Sale Association, said the count is still preliminary.
"Final figures are not complete," O'Connell said. The running total was around $255,000, including support money entered so far, he said.
