Warrant arrest on highway

REARDAN — A man was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 18, after deputies checked on someone lying along U.S. Highway 2.

Harlan Lynn Pelletier, of Elmer City, was on a warrant at about 4:47 p.m. near Milepost 262, a Lincoln County Sheriff's Office report said.

Deputy Kody Becker located Pelletier after seeing him walking in the area earlier, according to Sheriff’s Office records. A records check showed an Okanogan County warrant for fourth-degree assault and failure to appear.
