Thousands of visitors turned out Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 17-20, for the annual Deutschesfest celebration in downtown Odessa. The event featured beer, brats, chicken dancing, above, and bed racing. There was also the inaugural Hot Dog Eating Contest, vendors in the park and, of course, a parade.
