Freeman tops Reardan

ROCKFORD - Reardan took a 28-26 lead midway through the fourth quarter Friday, Sept. 18, but the Scotties scored the final 13 points to win 40-28 in a Northeast 2B matchup.

“We played well for chunks of the game, but we have to continue to work on executing more consistently,” Reardan head coach Matt Clouse said. “We had our opportunities in this game, but we couldn’t convert in the crunch time.”

The Screaming Eagles (2-1) opened with a two-point safety on a Freeman punt, then HK Bird returned the ensuing kickoff 67 yards for a touchdown and a 9-0 lead.
