September is the middle of apple season. Summer Goldens and Honey Crisp have been harvested, and now the Late Golden Delicious, Fugi, Braeburn and other fall apples are beginning harvest. What better time to try some new apple dessert recipes. Apple Pizza Pie, a recipe from the 1971 Farm Journal, Country Cookbook, Family Favorites, is a rich dessert.
