DAVENPORT — A man who walked up to a disabled pickup blocking a state highway was taken into custody Saturday, Sept. 26, on a Department of Corrections warrant.
Jesse Joseph Arruda, 63, of Davenport, arrived at the scene after deputies found a brown 1995 Chevrolet pickup partially blocking northbound state Highway 25 near milepost 16 and Mule Ranch Road, according to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office records. Arruda said the truck belonged to his girlfriend and had run out of gas.
