Public hearing set on data centers

DAVENPORT — Lincoln County will take public testimony Monday, Oct. 5, on a six-month freeze on data-center and battery-storage permit applications.

The public hearing is set for 11:15 a.m. in the Lincoln County Commissioners chambers of the courthouse, 450 Logan St.

“This hearing does not approve or deny any project,” Commissioner Rob Coffman said. “It also does not decide whether Lincoln County will allow data centers after the six months are up.”
