HARRINGTON - A state senator toured Sprague, Lamont and Harrington school buildings Monday, Sept. 28, discussing needed repairs rural districts say they cannot afford.
Sen. Mark Schoesler, R-Ritzville, was led through the schools by the Washington Association of Maintenance and Operations Administrators.
The 9th Legislative District senator started at Lamont Middle School at 10 a.m., then stopped at Sprague High School and Sprague Elementary before a 1-3 p.m. walk-through of Harrington's prekindergarten-through-12th-grade building.
