ORDINANCE SUMMARY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 8, 2026, the Board of Commissioners of Lincoln County, adopted Ordinance 26-02, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING A SIX-MONTH EMERGENCY MORATORIUM
ON THE ACCEPTANCE OF PERMIT APPLICATIONS FOR DATA CENTERS AND/OR BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS (BESS); AND
DIRECTING THE SCHEDULING OF A PUBLIC HEARING.
A complete text of the Ordinance is on file at the Lincoln County Commissioners office and can be reviewed during normal business hours or mailed upon request.
