A surprise 60th wedding anniversary celebration was held for Odessa natives Bud and Jerry King by their children on Sunday, July 13 at Reiman Park.
Their actual anniversary date was June 10, but their youngest daughter and family are currently vacationing here from Wausaukee and Green Bay, Wis., making it easier to surprise the couple with their party, and to have their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in attendence.
Very much appreciated by the family were the loyal and heat tolerant friends and extended family that came to honor the happy couple and share the family’s joy....
